Carlos Acosta has developed his Baseball career for more than 25 years. Served as coach and field coordinator for 14 years at the “Playball” Baseball Academy, Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Supervised scouts in Venezuela for the Montreal Expos (MLB) (1993-2002) and for Florida Marlins (MLB) (2002-2008).
As for the professional Baseball in Venezuela, he directed sports operations for Pastora de Los Llanos BBC (LVBP) (2000-2006) and the Bravos de Margarita BBC (LVBP) (2006-2009).
Obtained the bachelor’s degree in accountancy science in the University of Santa María in the city of Caracas, Venezuela and has also received his Texas State Teachers Certification in Houston.
Acosta was part of the Steve Hertz roster at Miami Dade Community College; signed as catcher by the New York Yankees organization and sent to their affiliate in The Dominican Republic, likewise, played for Navegantes del Magallanes (LVBP) minor league team, in Rubio, Venezuela. Happy for his Baseball years and his positive influence in young Baseball players, now accepts the task of directing our activities.
